Weekly League Distribution Update
See how SignalHash changed crypto mining league distribution with Gold and Silver targets, cascade filling, Bronze-to-Gold movement and league floors.
Archived league update published July 24, 2026. Current league distribution rules are maintained in the contest guide.
For the current system, read the Crypto Mining Contest Guide.
SignalHash introduced a stricter weekly distribution model for Gold, Silver and Bronze leagues after completed contest rounds.
A Stricter Weekly League Structure
SignalHash is introducing a stricter distribution model for Gold, Silver, and Bronze after each completed contest round. The change makes it harder to hold a higher league while preserving a path upward for strong players when the normal pools are not full.
Players are ranked by Tokens descending. Miner ID ascending breaks a tie, and each player enters the calculation only once using their best record from the round.
Base Distribution In Full Leagues
- Gold ranks 1–30 remain in Gold, ranks 31–40 move to Silver, and everyone else moves to Bronze.
- Silver ranks 1–10 move to Gold, ranks 11–40 remain in Silver, and everyone else moves to Bronze.
- Bronze ranks 1–10 move to Silver, while everyone else remains in Bronze.
Target League Sizes
The target size is 40 players in Gold and 50 players in Silver. Bronze has no player limit.
These are base targets rather than absolute caps. Performance guarantees are applied later and can increase the final Gold or Silver population.
How Gold Is Filled
When there are not enough players to fill Gold through the normal movement rules, available places are filled through a fixed cascade.
- First: the Top 10 Silver players.
- Second: the Top 30 existing Gold players.
- Third: remaining Silver players.
- Fourth: Bronze players.
- Fifth: remaining Gold players.
How Silver Is Filled
Silver uses its own cascade after Gold placement is known. Players already selected for Gold are excluded from the Silver candidates.
- First: the best 10 players leaving Gold.
- Second: the best 10 Bronze players who were not selected for Gold.
- Third: Top 40 Silver players who were not selected for Gold.
- Fourth: remaining Bronze players.
- Fifth: remaining Silver players.
Bronze Can Move Directly To Gold
Cascade filling means a strong Bronze player can move directly to Gold when there are not enough eligible Silver and Gold players to fill the target pool.
If the candidate pool is still too small after every cascade step, the league remains below its target size. The system does not create placeholder participants.
Performance-Based League Floors
The first five completed contest rounds do not count toward performance-based league floors. Starting with the sixth completed round, a player must satisfy at least one historical result condition.
Only results from different rounds count, and each round can contribute once. Bronze achievements create a minimum Silver floor; Silver achievements create a minimum Gold floor.
- Three first-place finishes.
- Five Top 3 finishes.
- Seven Top 5 finishes.
Additional Bronze Reward Rule
Receiving a GRAM reward in three different Bronze rounds creates a minimum Silver floor. GRAM payouts are settled through the TON blockchain, but GRAM is the reward asset used by SignalHash.
This rule moves repeated Bronze winners upward so newer players still have room to compete, learn the contest systems, and experience the league mechanics.
Floors Can Expand A League
League floors are applied after the base distribution and cascade filling. A floor never moves a player down from a higher league.
Because guaranteed minimum leagues are applied after the target pools are built, final Gold and Silver populations can exceed 40 and 50 players.
